This is a beautiful, soft, luxurious, iridescent Dupioni Fabric that is 100% Handmade and 100% Original Product of Benaras, India - the world’s best Dupioni / Dupion Fabric manufacturing destination. This fabric is rustic, visceral and elegant all at the same time.

We make fabrics from the highest quality polyester yarn to give it the look of Pure Dupioni Silk as an affordable luxury product. This fabric is 100% polyester, but unlike other Dupion fabrics - our fabric is known worldwide for its softness, free-flows and versatility. This fabric includes a light sheen and small slubs that run across the fabric giving it a textured and natural silk look. As with all silk fabrics color and reflection change under different light conditions. Tends to be milder in color under natural light and vivid with strong color under fluorescent and other light conditions.

Dupioni is slightly thicker and has a slightly coarse feel than Silk fabric.
